New Beginnings I and II started with the idea of a set of two pieces that complimented each other. After completing the 2nd piece I felt it looked better if it hung to the left of the first, a little opposite but that’s the beauty of the process. And if you purchase the set you may like it a different way!
Relief wall art is a timeless piece of art to hang in your home. The layered wood and designs play with light and shadows giving a unique look each time. Each piece is handmade from start to finish. The art work is hand painted on wood with a custom plaster acrylic paint mix to add texture and interest. Finishing the piece is a custom walnut floating frame with maple inlay joinery adding a extra special touch to the piece. The walnut used varies and can be darker or lighter.
